7 Easy Steps to Be A Popular Guest Blogger

It’s been a long time now that I have been writing. I am fortunate enough to come across thousands of guest blogs which are both pleasure and pain. Yet after writing almost 400 guest posts on behalf of my organization, I have earned much authority over the art of guest blogging. I have a straight forward aim infront of me.
When I write any such blog, I write to get acceptance from website owners. Honestly, my articles were rejected on many occasions but I didn’t shut down my system out of my grief; contrarily, I hold the helm and embark on the journey to assess those rejected copies and get a right solution to over the word “NO” from website owners.
What I did is part of my experience and I am going to share it here today. If you have rejection like me; don’t think you can’t write good; just look out for these seven tips and start writing, I know this time you would be rocking!
Step#1.
Plea Being Corrected, Courteous and Careful
Writing guest blog for getting wider audience exposure is the prime target. However, a web writer can’t be aggressive. You have a pen, not a sword in your hand in order to slaughter other. Write mails correctly. Keep your tone courteous and be careful about what you are saying. You can appeal to write on the hosts’ website. Your quality and standard of writing must be up to the mark of the website you are approaching. Start with lower PR website; build your confidence and then try reach out giant amount of readers.
Step#2
Keep Your Aim Fixed
What result you expect by guest blogging?
What’s your target? Do you know your objective?
Analyze it at the first sitting. Once you oscillate from your target, your bow will miss the target audience.
What target I am Talking about?
- Through guest blogs you want to earn reputation
- You want backlinks for better exposure
- You want only more readership
- You want lime light from web world
Name your target as soon as you plan to be a guest author. No target means you are wasting time; nothing else.
Step#3.
First Impression Is the Last Word
While writing the first guest blog, I was a bit confused about what exactly to write. What style and language to follow? I know many newbie bloggers have the same confusion. Once you write bad, your career as a guest blogger comes to cease.
Can you remember the days when you used give brilliant answer to your interviewers? Smart, prompt, soft yet asserting, stylish and commanding over your job were the key elements.
Try to inculcate all those habits again. Write one the best copies of your life.
Your first impression will last forever if you can shed some impact.
Be stylish or whatever you want to be; make your first impression a gratifying one.

First Impression Is the Last Word-II
Apart from the website owner, you have the tremendous task to impress online visitors.
You have just a single chance to prove your stamina and writing caliber.
What is My Game-plan?
I list up all the website addresses in an excel sheet. I find out the PR rank, domain authority and readership of the website. It helps me to figure out the pulse of the readers’ of the website. I tweak my write ups accordingly. But, my major concern is to deliver info in a flow so that my readers can read out my write ups in a single siting.
Step#5
Don’t Miss Out Your Bio
Bio offers more information about you. If you create an impact on your readers, they are likely to become curious to know you better. Keeping this view in mind, author bio is the most essential part of your writing.
Be strictly honest while writing bio. Never practice and profess what you don’t do or you are not in reality.
Honesty pays off; trust me!
Step#6
Ask Permission for Leaving Links
Don’t be an autonomous, arrogant fellow. You want to post your guest blog to get something.
Be courteous and seek permission whether you can place a link or not.
If you don’t have permission; let be it that for some time being as the ball is in your court.
Step#7
Your Guest Blog Is Published. What’s Next?
Once you have done all arrangements and published you blog on host’s website, don’t let the ice melt again.
Flow the hot element of your write through social channels. Take every guest blog publication as your achievement but don’t forget to measure your success. Views, likes, tweets, G+ recommends, LinkedIn shares, and Face book news feeds are the tools through which you can measure the success of your guest blog.
Be particular while sharing; be punctual as freshness of your content matters.
